Design Discovery!

Great to meet Ros Weaver (writer/designer/textile consultant) and her staff, Ellen and Holly, at the Barry Daniels Archive in Hackney today. We all had a great lunch at Black Cat vegan cafe. Barry Daniels was a co-founder of the DANAD design collective (founded 1958) based at Marden Hill (Georgian mansion), Hertfordshire, frequently visited in the 60's by Mick Jagger and Jimi Hendrix. One of the designers, Peter Blake, designed the Beatles' 'Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' artwork. Barry Daniels' archive was discovered by his son recently in the basement of Marden Hill. It was decided to relaunch it to the world!
