black and white rat patterns

On the left is a detail of my screen-printed rat pattern printed on black cotton twill. On the right is today's printing assignment; printing black rats on thick white cotton twill. Cotton twill has an attractive diagonal weave structure. It's the first time I have printed this in black ink, previous fabrics were digitally printed. Personally I prefer the screen-print, the ink is more dramatic and intense. The screen-print is also more durable. A pair of contrasting black and white rat cushions were ordered this week. They are popular as a pair and available from my Etsy shop
