Textile Design Classes in Essex

I am very pleased that my new classes in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK have been a success. I have devised a fast method of creating repeat patterns by hand, which I teach to the students. Then I teach them the basics of Adobe Photoshop so that they can finish their designs as a computerized repeat tile. Their designs are intended for printing on fabric, which can be used for fashion, home decor, wall coverings or stationery. I have two groups of students who I teach on alternate weeks. They are very enthusiastic and motivated. One of the students, Tracy Spurgeon RCA, who attended my second evening class on 19th September commented afterwards: "Thanks Patrick it was such a great and inspiring class". Another student, Lorna Ryan also commented publicly online, "I learnt so much and am really looking forward to our next class".

Another special feature of the classes is that all my students are entitled to claim a large free sample of their design printed by Spoonflower, the digital printing company. They are also entitled to free postage.

Thank you to photographer Penelope Barritt for coming to the class on 26th September and taking excellent photos.

To find out more information about the classes, visit the METAL Culture website page.

If you would like to add your name to the waiting list so that I can contact you when a place is available, please get in touch by using the Paisley Power Contact Page.
