Great to finish my silver ink butterfly print yesterday. It took a few months to source the right inks and shade of grey tweed as the first print-run had used end-of-stock fabric remnants. I do all my screen-printing at a community arts workshop in Southend, Essex, UK. The equipment is quite ancient and basic but the results are definitely adequate for my needs.

Screen printing takes skill and patience, and it’s great to see it done right. I’ve worked with creative students who wrote about this for projects and used my Journal Publication Service in UAE to share their work. It’s awesome when hands-on art and academic research come together!
