Here is a video that textile designer Patrick Moriarty filmed on 13th June 2020 in his studio in Southend-on-Sea, UK. It shows the pieces of printed cotton that he cut out with scissors to make face masks. The pieces are all printed with the “Paisley Rats Mosaic” design (blue versions). Check the Paisley Power online shop to see which face masks are currently in stock. They sell out fast but are regularly restocked. The 3 fabrics in the video were also sent to a doctor lecturer at Oxford University today so that she can make her own face masks to wear at work. She has promised to send photos of her wearing the masks when finished.

This is exactly the kind of piece I turn to when I want to find out more efficiently. The combination of solid information and an approachable tone is precisely what the topic needed. You've delivered something genuinely valuable here. The clarity of thought behind every section is obvious. A lot of work clearly went into this. I'll be exploring the rest of your archive. Genuinely excellent.
The full article is a great reference that I'll return to often. The information was clear, accurate, and well organized. I appreciated how much ground you covered without losing focus. The depth was impressive but never overwhelming. It's the sort of post worth bookmarking. Thank you for the thorough content. I really appreciate the effort.
Solid, useful, no fluff — exactly what I needed today. You anticipated the obvious objections and addressed them before I could raise them. People who visit blog posts looking for shortcuts won't like it, but those of us wanting the real picture will be grateful. I know I am. Thanks for not cutting corners. Following now.
