When you are working on a fabric project it is important to match the colours of the fabrics or find contrasting colours that suit the taste of you, your customers or your clients. You can select your favourite hues in the graphic artwork and then find fabrics to match. I printed a small colour palette with shades of purple to make the task easier. A group of friends in California asked me to make 7 tote bags for their trip to New York in March. They are all fans of the music legend Prince Rogers Nelson (Prince). All of the tote bags will have my new “Paisley Prince Songbook” design printed on one side of the bags. On the reverse side will be personal photos and messages from the 7 friends. It is enjoyable to receive requests from around the world for personalization of my hand-made products. The artwork printed on the fabric is my Paisley Prince Songbook design.
