The biggest art gallery in Essex is exhibiting unique fabric products by designer Patrick Moriarty. The Beecroft Art Gallery has several art exhibitions showing on it's different levels. The gallery is part of the Southend Museums Service. Patrick's brand of home furnishing items and fashion accessories, called Paisley Power, was launched in 2014. All his fabric items are hand-made in Southend, using his unique textiles. He draws all his designs by hand and many of the fabrics were printed by hand at The Old Waterworks, a community arts workshop, studios and small gallery space in Southend.
