Decided to enrol in another sewing course. I found a sewing pattern for this 'fold over' bag. I bought some grey denim for the lining. I wanted to use the selvedge which I had cut off the edges. Black and white is by far the most popular colour combo for my rat design. I received orders for 3 cushions yesterday so today i was back in the print room screenprinting the fabric. It's very enjoyable when the printing is successful. Tomorrow i will collect the prints, iron them to fix the inks and then sew them and send them out. I really enjoyed the Victorian Christmas craft fair held at the Prittlewell Priory (Southend-on-sea, Essex, UK), founded my monks in the 12th century (that's the priory, not the craft fair).
